I closed all my browsers and my email clients and followed the above steps but unfortunately it did not work!

hello, I am having the exact same problem in all browsers except Firefox! I am actually glad that I'm not alone! I thought I was infected with a virus! I sent a support ticket from within bit defender total security 2019 on Wednesday, but I haven't heard anything from them!
