My VPN is working now without turning firewall off, accessing network drive, and then turning firewall back on. I did not change anything, but I did connect to the network drive while on my home network (not thru VPN), and after doing that, perhaps BD has learned, and allows me to access the network drive from the VPN now.…

Well, the wifi and vpn adapters are showing now, but my network resources are still blocked. But if I turn off the firewall, the network resources work fine, and then if I then turn the firewall back on, the network resources continue to work. If I then disconnect my vpn and reconnect the network resources are no longer…

I think he meant ignis.dll. I have it now and the adapters are showing! Yay.

The "fix" is not working for me. Adapter list is still blank. Updated and rebooted twice. Of course, not sure if the update is even there since there appears to be no way to tell if you get this update (seriously, the version number does not change?). Back to repair and prompt workaround I go...

I am interested in the repair & disable updates work-around. However, I am concerned that approach would cause out-of-date virus definitions. I believe the many negative…

What is unforgivable, is that BD appears to have no process for us to revert back to 2016 until 2017 is fixed.

I have it working now, although I suspect only temporarily. I ran repair again and then update while attached to my home wifi. Both my wireless and wired adapters are showing now in the firewall tab and I can access my network storage, which I could not when the adapters were not showing without turning the firewall off.…

After running the repair and rebooting, the adapter shows up, but then after running the update and rebooting, the adapter is gone again.

Update/restart did not fix it. No adapters when I connect to my iPhone WiFi hotspot. When I am home connected to my home WiFi, then the adapter shows up. Submitted a support request through the Bitdefender interface. No ticket number was given.

Same issue: Adapter list empty, therefore unable to make adjustments. Firewall blocks my VPN (Open VPN). Turn off firewall, VPN works. Bitdefender Internet Security 2017 21.0.23.1101. Windows 7
