I get the same thing; so you aren't alone. Not only does the application fail to open, it exits with a black screen. I've tried the repair, and that doesn't work, period. The only way to get the screen back is to restart. (Win 10 Pro, version 1607, build 14393.693). Either fix or tell us how to remove it, safely. Thank you.
