@camarie I know it is not necessarily straight-forward, but I know a lot of programs can do it, so why can't bitdefender. Even my 10+ year old previous app could do this via the contact menu - scan the file or the directory. Have you tried reaching out to the developers? I am sure they would be more than willing to assist…
