I'm on a Pixel 8a and getting the same alert over the past few days on a regular basis. The error message would be much more helpful if it said what the offending app (or apps) is.

I do not currently use the Bitdefender VPN, or any other VPN for that matter. I have uninstalled the MyQ app and reinstalled it without any change in the symptoms. Thank you, Scott, for your help.
