  • You run the utility in safe mode? That was it! I run the utilities in safe mode, rebooted and ran the installation file and it worked fine. Thanks for your help.

  • Hi Buddy, Waiting on the same advice, hope it comes through soon as it is starting to annoy me. Lots of dead end leads that no longer open. Cheers I tried to download their CA removal tool but it doesn't work. If this takes too long, I will call and ask for refund; can't leave computer exposed.
  • I tried the link for CA removal but it gives error and then the page displays "Knowledge Tools requires either Netscape 4.7x, Netscape 6.2x and higher, or Internet Explorer 5.0 and higher.". I am using IE 10 (Win 7 64-bit). I cannot install lBitdefender as it complains about eTrust.
