  • Anyone? Still not updating for me.
  • I uninstalled BDAF Free. Then installed it again. It did update itself to 1.0.11.7 and asked me to reboot, and after the reboot it looks like it's not updating itself again. It does not show Engine version, just like in the above screenshot. With all the issues with BDAF recently, I think it's time for me to find something…
  • Well, mine still refuses to update itself. Last update was on 2/16. Don't know how to force it to update itself. Rebooting the machine does not help. I guess I may have to reinstall it.
  • Strangely for me, youtube videos still play via Chrome, but don't play via Firefox, which is my default browser. And I am still not getting any updates. Last update was on 2/16 at 11:11. And it's still not showing which Engine version I have. Frustrating.
  • Same problem here, for 2 days now. Running Win7 with FF 56.0.2. Strangely, my BitDefender Free stopped updating itself. Last update was on 2/16 morning (when I look at the Events tab), but the Protection tab doesn't even show it...
  • This is getting crazy... I mean, it's like every other website I go to is all of a sudden blocked by Bitdefender Free. carfax.com cosmicleaf.com ifixit.com mycheckfree.com openlinksys.com slacker.com On top of it, it is now preventing Youtube videos from playing. What is going on???
  • 40 minutes ago, Marius G. said: The rollback reverts the effects of the update and is delivered automatically. Please wait for the update and reboot your device. How can you tell if the rollback was delivered to your PC? I just rebooted my PC. I had to start BitdefenderFree manually, and after I did that, it still says…
  • I just did uninstall and then clean install. It was working fine for the first few minutes after the install, and then I think it must have done an auto-update, and now it is hosed again... "Services not responding".
  • I'm experiencing the same issue today, running Win7. And when I restart my PC, Bitdefender Free is not even starting on its own. Win7 security is throwing warning messages that I have no Antivirus turned on.
  • Submitted. Thanks! Just to update this thread: BitDefender's answer was to basically switch to a full-featured paid version of the product, where you can manually set exclusions. Unfortunately, BitDefender Free doesn't offer this flexibility.
  • Hiya, Please send the details through to Bitdefender using the Sample or URL Submit form. http://www.bitdefender.com/submit/ Thanks. Ro. Submitted. Thanks!
  • Well, I don't have McAfee, only BitDefender Free, and it is still blocking SqueezePlay on my laptop. What to do?
