  • I had the problem that TurboTax updates would fail with a 42001error. If I disabled Bitdefender virus and firewall protection then rebooted, I could install and update TurboTax. I contacted Bitdefender support. Told them the issue. They sent me links to Uninstall then reinstall Bitdefender. This seems to fix the problem.
