The issue is not fixed. The update simply does the same thing as the patch that was tried earlier. It removes the AVC HV device but does not reinstall it with the correct driver. Both my dual-core and quad-core systems still have the AVC HV device functioning properly after this update, so it is still supposed to be there.…

I am using BDIS 2015 on an AMD Athlon 2x with W7-SP1 Bitdefender AVC HC is working Driver file number is 3.10.7096.4224 dated 11/2/2012 BDIS 2015 version number is 18.19.0.1396 My Intel i5s are running W8.1 with BD W8 Security and there is not a Bitdefender AVC HC driver listed under Systems devices.…

I have an Acronis system image that was created on Oct 20th 2014, before this error started. Ok I tried it again only I added a pause to the end of avchv_reinstall.cmd so I could see what it's doing since it closed the window before. It does remove the avchv device but it errors on the reinstall saying.. "Too many processors found: 8 Incompatible CPU detected."

I'm having the same problem. I'm running an 8 core AMD and Windows 8.1 Pro. I ran the patch in safe mode but it only appears to have uninstalled the device, it's not in device manager anymore.
