  • I believe opening up msconfig and stoping the bitdefender services from starting up maybe one way ? but not the easiest. You could alternatively run the .exe file of the game in compatability mode , as in in XP mode that maywell work it has in the past for me with some ganes.
  • I always use Gamer Mode one of the thing I love about BitDefender hehe but still the problem continues... I have tryed everything and the only thing that makes the game work is having BitDefender closed... Which Game are you trying to run and are having issues with ?
  • Hi Nox Gamer mode is great for this , easy to apply . Right click on the Bitdefender Icon and 'turn on Gamer mode'. All the Bitdefender Products have gamer mode. this will allow you to play games and run them without issues and bitdefender is less intrusive during your gaming session. I play regularly Need for speed Shift…

  • Stealth mode? Go into Settings Tab on the Bitdefender User Interface. Change to : Expert mode Go to firewall tab , by default steal mode is set to either On / Remote or OFF.
  • Check that Stealth mode is off ? and then restart the PC to see if you can pick it up in the workgroup. Can you ping the PC ?
  • Same issue here: "Not enough storage to complete operation" when I attempt to switch users on XP SP3 box. Tried increasing the IRPStackSize hack to no avail. Performed a Repair from the BD folder and the system worked as it should for about a day then back in the ditch. I saw a suggestion in another thread that talks about…
  • Chesda: How can you possibly have the courage to ask paying customers to wait a few weeks for problems like this to be fixed? We are talking about a security program here. John K said it best: "This is a system-critical utility." One can't afford to pay for this program, install it and then have it down for a few weeks…
  • I do believe it is more than fit for purpose, As with every product when you are trying to support a vast amount of different configurations and various flavours of Operating Systems , you will find obstacles. With reference to your experiences John , I've had similiar problems with 2009 Product but not with the 2010…
  • After trying multiple different stack sizes I had no joy. I entered into run : regedit to open up the registery editor in Windows XP. The registry entry called IRPStackSize was not there so i Manually added the DWORD. Going into the following in the registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \SYSTEM \CurrentControlSet \Services…
