  • Happened to a lot of PCs in my office. Update Bitdefender and afterwards do a restart. That usually clears up the grey Bitdefender icon (service not available)
  • You can turn off Autoscan that's what I did but sometimes it will randomly screw up with BD Agent and vserve hogging up all resources. ALso searching in the forums their tech guys are prolly unable to fix this as they havent replied with any solution yet. you should shop for other Security Solutions
  • I am also experiencing this in our Office, the logo is greyed out and you need to manually start BD in services, somtimes there is no option to manually start it and you need to reboot again.   • I deeply regret buying this product, I scan this external HDD before using free antivirus software and it only takes a few hours (7-8) but this is unacceptable!! 58 hours and counting!???
