I am glad you have things working. My attitude is that BD gets a good reputation for removing viruses etc, so I am just going to carry on, get some work done, and not worry about their sorry support team. There has to be problems with the latest updates. Last week the update corrupted some files. Through BD tech support though they asked for all sorts of files and such just like you, I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling. That worked.
