My computer has survived the trojan.fakealert.5 process: I have now restarted my computer 3 times with no problems, BD is updated and installed correctly, I am currently running a BD virus scan and it is not bringing anything back. So far so good,hope everyone else is able to get their computers up and running!

I just installed the update but now it says Bitdefender services are no responding. Is it safe to restart? Or will I lose all the files it quarantined? I am at this point as well.

I am running Windows 7 64 bit and I am having the same issues w/ bitdefender. I am hoping that I am able to retrieve the files it tagged as I ignored any action and did not quaritine or delete anything (fingers crossed).
