I received a desktop 'pop-up' ad from Bitdefender today. It said something like "Is your PC feeling sluggish?" It was annoying and, to some extent, slowed my internet browsing. This uninvited SPAM is illegal, isn't it?

Bitdefender Support just got back to me. They advise me to take the free upgrade to the 2013 version; "... due to the many improvements brought to the 2013 lineup many issues you may have encountered with your 2012 product should be solved now." I've contacted Bitdefender Support twice about this. I mentioned that I will not be renewing my licence if this problem persits.

Issue resolved. Thanks, Daniel M at Bitdefender support), for helping me with this. My personal settings for Bitdefender were set too high and thus prevented Railworks from opening properly. Goff

Thankyou, Daniel. I'll give it a go and will report back. The Railworks installation comes direct via the Steam client connecting to their servers, (i.e. there is no Railworks installation exe). I think there is a version which comes on a dvd, but I purchased the download version. Goff
