Hi folks The culprit is the Bitdefender agent still running anyhow in the backgound. If I rename the folder c:\Program Files\Bitdefender then I am able to run the uninstall tool or to install Bitdefender again. But I am not able to delete the folder saying Bitdefender agent is not allowing to do that. I will try around a…

@Gjoksi The same error message pops up and fails if I try to uninstall Bitdefender with the above uninstall tool. It's not working either. The uninstall tool fails as well with the same error message. And it doesn't work either in safe mode cancelling with the same error window.
-
There's something very strange going on with my system. I can neither reinstall Bitdefender nor repair it. And the uninstall tool also gives me the same error message. Does anyone know what kind of problem I have?
-
Thank you, Scott 🤗
-
Hi Scott That's my opinion too, that I'm way too long behind already. I will try to repair or reinstall Bitdefender. Until now I have never waited so long for an update. Uwe
-
I'm still on build 26.0.36.193. 😥 Uwe

@Alexandru_BD Thanks Alex. It is indeed the core isolation that messes up the firewall window. 😃 Can we submit the bug to the Bitdefender development team? Cheers! ☺️
-
@Alexandru_BD Short feedback. I've been not experiencing any GUI glitches in the Firewall window anymore since I turned of "Core isolation". Everything is displayed as it should be. 👍️ Best wishes, Uwe
-
It seems to be that the culprit was the activated "Core isolation" (Memory integrity) in "Windows Security". Since I've been switched it off the Firewall window displays all adapters properly. But I will keep an eye on it if that was really the case. 😉 Best wishes, Uwe
-
Hi Alex Yes, I will. After having done a reboot of my system, it looks normal again. But it won't stay like this very long I guess. Sooner or later the Firewall GUI will be displayed as mentioned above. I will keep you up-to-date. 😊 Best wishes, Uwe
-
@Alexandru_BD Since it just happens in the Firewall window (not always, but often), it seems to be a kind of bug only there. I have three active network adapters installed and they are displayed in the window as "vEthernet (Default Switch (Ethernet 2))", "vEthernet (Default Switch (Ethernet))" and "vEthernet (Default…

Hi folks For some time I have been having display problems with Bitdefender. Here as an example the GUI for the firewall. The display problems show up exclusively in Bitdefender. Addedum: As far as I can tell, the display problem only occurs in the firewall GUI. Best wishes, Uwe PS: I have a NVidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti. The…

Got it early this afternoon. 😊
-
Me too. Build 26.0.35.174. 😃
-
Hi @Alexandru_BD Yes, I know this regarding the right click on the icon. However, I think, as already written, that nothing more comes with me in terms of an update. Regards
-
Hi guys I'm a little confused because I've not gotten build 26.0.35.169 yet. I'm still on version 26.0.34.162. 😔 Have you any idea why it takes that long? Will I get the latest build sometime as well or is the build only distributed on special computers with special software configurations? I see black there for me that…
-
Hi @Scott Yikes! Yes, you are right. I completely forgot to mention the bugs you described (password protection disabling itself, trouble with profile settings and so on). Guess, I was already so used to them that I missed them out while I was jotting down my post. 😊

@Adriana_S Hi Adriana Thank you for your survey regarding to implementing additional features in Bitdefender. First of all, I'm all satisfied with the functionalities of Bitdefender. Spontaneously said, I would like to see two points being implemented in Bitdefender as "expert features". 1) When a new update appears, it…

Build 26.0.33.137 was already released on February 9th. And as usual, it is being deployed in stages.
-
Many thanks, Scott. I know to appreciate your words. :) But only with your help by showing me the website where I had to submit the false positive of the file Gsudo.exe. :) Best wishes, Uwe
-
Yeah... short feedback. The database has been updated and Gsudo is not recognized as a malware anymore. 😊👍
-
I submitted the file around two days ago, but by now it's still recognized as a malicious one called Generic.Application.Gsudo.A.3A454FB6. VirusTotal says it is clean so far. Hope the virus databank is updated soon. VirusTotal - URL - 2b4b2969687799b5cd2bd9012ff37e77226c2d4c082d50aecad37d2a00d88ab1 Best wishes, Uwe
-
Thank you Scott. I've just submitted it.
-
Thank you ver much, Scott. I'm gonna submit it. :)
-
Thank you ver much, Scott. I'm gonna submit it. :)
-
Thank you very much, Scott. I will submit it. :)
-
Yes, that's what I always do. I only download software from it's original source. :)
-
Ya, I did that. BD was removing the "infected" files and I'd deleted all remaining ones from WingetUI 1.6.0 and ran several full scans and everthing turned out fine. :) @Scott Do you know where I can submit the obviously false detection of Bitdefender AV to correct the virus database? After that, we would have a clean…
-
Ya, I'd completely removed all the remaining files from WingetUI 1.6.0 and ran several full scans after deleting WingetUI 1.6.0 and everything is fine. No other detections found. :)
-
Hi @Scott No, v1.6.0 is the current version of WingetUI released already a couple of days ago. And as mentioned, it started yesterday evening all of a sudden on both of my computers. Before that, everything ran smoothly and nothing got detected. Addendum: Yes Scott, I will make an exception for the tool 'cause the app is…
