To: Samba Ndiaye Open Bit Defender console. Click on Advanced Tab on its title bar. Click Update on left pane, then click on Settings tab in right pane. Just in the bottom part uncheck the "don't update while scanning" & "don't update while game mode is on". Click Apply, close and restart. Now update it should work
