so... unfortunately I turned my computer on on a weekend. The anti-virus went crazy, so i restarted the computer. After the restart, bit defender wouldn't turn on. i decided to "repair" it using the uninstall/repair thing. (i didn't find this thread til later) now bitdefender works fine, but all those quarantined files…
