Anyone else having a problem with icon images not appearing after the fix?

@DanyDan The patch installs fine, but I was under the impression that it would restore everything that was quarantined? My quarantine still has 10k+ files in it.

Patch didn't seem to work, my quarantine is still full... any suggestions?

Can anyone provide a link to the latest patch as BitDefender can't seem to find it. Also, BitDefender is now finding Trojan.FakeAV.KUE!! It's nothing like the massacre of earlier, but this suggests all is still not well.

I got the same problem any help? I also had this problem. Instead of performing a system restore, I restored to "last known good configuration". This seemed to kick start the system restore restore process into action. Hope this helps.

I highly doubt you paid for a tech to rush to your house to fix a virus, not hard to make a false receipt either, how long was this problem live for? I dont know that question as this error happened when most people in my country would be asleep, then waking up to a fixed error, that most wouldnt have experienced through…

Well, considering I'm in my final year at university and have lost a fair deal of my dissertation that is due in just under one month... I think it's fair to say that I'm pretty ######. If I fail I want my tuition fees paid for next year!!

Noob question... Is it safe to turn on real-time protection after restoring my comp to a previous config and installing the update?

For those who have restored to a previous config, and have installed the update... is it safe to empty the quarantine??

So what other AV software is everyone going for now?? I'm thinking of free edition for the time-being
