Hi Alex I'm using Windows 10 Pro 64 bit and Firefox and Google Chrome. In Bitdefender Internet Security the in settings for the wallet the both browsers is greyed out and only safepay is ok. As Matei suggested Bitdefender is reinstalled. Peter

Hello Stefan Thank you for comming back to me with the solution. Earlier Bitdefender Support told me that it wasn't possible and I had to create a new Wallet with the new password. Every other passwords has to be changed now and then and of course the Wallet password too. Regards Peter

It looks like I have fixed it yesterday. Type MSconfig in run and press enter, on the tab Start find Windows Defender and disable it. Close the MSconfig console and Windows will ask you to restart. After a restart the icon is gone and I can't see that the service is running. Peter

What if you deactivate and reactivate the wallet in the addons menu in Firefox? If I do that the icon shows up and the wallet works.

The widget can't stay in place. It is very annoying that I have to move it everytime I turn the Pc on. If I turn it off it turn it self turn on again after a boot.

I started this topic when this issue appeared with AV Plus 2016 and was told from Bitdefender that it was made because not to slow the Windows boot time. With 2017 it is extreme. Nice to know that Bitdefender are aware of this topic. I will read next time.

That's my impression too. The Bitdefender Optimizer never find a thing in the Registry even if CCleaner does. The Optimizer and CCleaner finds exactly the same amounts of cookies and temp files (just tried).
