  • Hello Mary, The reason why you can't scan is because you upgraded to 2011 and installed it over the old version, BitDefender 2008. That is also the reason - as you also mention in your email - why you see on top of the BitDefender Security Center saying BitDefender 2008 and not 2011. I have merged all your four tickets…
  • Try to scan in safe mode. I have done that and in fact just did do and it still shuts down the computer. And no offense but why should I have to scan in safe mode. This product should work as it claims it will.
