  • open the Task Manager and look for the process called "uiscan.exe". If you don't have it there Diana I am having the same problem, with Internet Security 2009, the automatic scan ran yesteday, but the one scheduled for today failed and I can't scan manually.   • Follow up: This scan is all over the place, the last 3 scans have given me, 4, 80 and then 4 "password protected files" the same hard drives, no changes or additions to the files in the drives.
