  • you have 30 days from the date of purchase (not install) to request a refund This one is ridiculous - I don't think anyone buys a software and not install it - rather install it, find some bug(s) they can't live with and then ask for refund... One of a good bug examples is the unnresolved-for-years bug with hiding system…
  • If you used PayPal for your initial payment, you can deactivate the related preapproved payment - it worked for me. Of course this one is valid BEFORE your account got recharged again... But you're 100% right - no word was anywhere suggesting I was signing up for a continuous renewal when purchasing Bitdefender...

  • The only solution is a restart when system returns to previously set settings. I need to correct this one - after restart, OS is reset to defaults, i.e. protected and hidden files got hidden again, ignoring previously set visibility option...
