Thank you. I spent about 20 minutes with online chat support but they weren't much help. They escalated the issue and someone is supposed to contact me. In the meantime, I found that I have to disable all protections(except I can leave encrypted web scan on) in "online threat protection" to be able to get into the cPanel…

Same thing happening to me. Just started using bitdefender this week. Using Hostgator. Can't get into cPanel on one of my accounts but I can on the other. Disable all bitdefender web protection and I can get in with no problems. I have added gator4055.hostgator.com to the exceptions list but it did not help
