Same here. It happens on quick scan too. I tried to repair bitdefender but it messed up my windows 10 and I had to reset it. My friend is also facing the same problem.

Same thing happened to me but the cause was a little different. I plugged in a USB drive, bitdefender started to scan it as usual but then it got stuck and windows 10 became unresponsive.
