What you can do is check what tcp port which is being used on this connection and go ahead and white list that port onto the firewall. Good luck.
-
How about killing the proccess at task manager? It's also an option.
-
There is one resolved thread here. Hope this helps. http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=33157

I think it will still ask you first before BD will delete files. Itunes itself is already a heavy application. Can you please post your PC/laptop specs here?
-
Hi VTP. Looks like you may need to upgrade your PC specs. 1.86GHz and 2GB of RAM is not enough these days. Even without BD on, you will still experience some lags by just browsing some heavy sites.
-
That's interesting. I just can't think of anything as a work around here. This could be considered a bug for sure. Changes in the next version would be important here I think.
-
I think this feature is already available by just using Windows utilities. It would be a lot tougher though if want to have an additional one. Also, a list needs to be define on which registry files needed to be protected.
-
Hi Randy. Make sure you already put a check mark about having BD to be displayed at system tray.
-
Installation date isn't really that important. Just the version number. Any reason for having this?
-
Another way to go around this is by calling Sony tech support, ask them what TCP ports are used by the PS3. Once you have all the ports, add it one by one at white list.
-
Are you using flash for this site? If so, just add it into the white list. Also check the TCP port used for connection and add that port as well.
-
Great idea. But what is the primary benefit of waiting for X days from deleting it right of the bat?
-
I don't this this would be possible. BD is an internet security software, the feature asked would be a data recovery already.
-
I wasn't able to fully understand the issue. Are you using a client or browser to download? If a browser, which browser are you using?
-
I think the fastest way here is to contact support, verify your account with them, and they would be able to walk you through with the whole process.
-
Not sure on this but have you tried to open port 21 tcp? Also, Windows firewall could be blocking this too.
-
Would love to see this happen too.
-
Try this. Disable BD and reinstall flash. A good work around for other users.
-
Hi rickoshea, most of the times, if the file is too large, the email provider would also block this. How big is the file that you're trying to attach?
-
+1 on this. I would also like to have this developed.
-
I don't think this would be possible at all. That will be classified as bandwidth shaping already. Since this is an internet security product, it won't be able to do that. Firewall can block new ports but nothing really about BW shaping. Just my opinion.
-
Hi rsedlik, did the build update resolved this issue for you?
-
Maybe adding the program on the firewall's trust list would resolve this?
-
I also found a couple of users having this. Any luck on this Leighton?
-
Hi James. Just to be sure. What browser and version are you using with this?
-
+1 on this. A port on the specific protocol displayed would be a good one too. Nice to know we can take a quick glance for both protocol and port number.
-
I think the feature could help us very well in notifying us about new replies. Would be nice to know if this is something that would be available.
-
Sorry, I'm a little confused. Your BW is at maximum if you're not downloading anything? That should be perfectly normal.
-
"\Device\HarddiskVolume2" Looks like you have a special partition here.
-
Just to clarify. What product and version is this?
