Sorry to see this Mark. You can also try posting your issue here. There are tons of users around that will be able to help you out.
-
A skin template would be nice. Is there an existing one already? Or do we need to start a fresh one?
-
There may be registry files left here. Try one of those top registry cleaners online. Most of them are actually free. Also remove the old folders too.
-
Also, What you can do here is to try installing it in Safe Mode with Networking. Hope it helps.
-
Clearly, BD is seeing VMware as a threat. Why not add it at the trust list? Or you can disable it at start up, install it, and enable it at start up again.
-
You can also stop it from launching at start up. Hit on Run - type msconfig - hit ok - click start up tab. Uncheck the entry that says BD or equivalent. Just revert once done.
-
Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. Can you provide the full error message? We need to check which file or folder is not accessible.
-
You don't need to worry about those. Computers broadcast traffic as keepalives. Just to let every one knows on the network that you are still there, still alive. I would worry too much about it.
-
You can set your torrent client to only work on a port range. Say 50000-60000, and white list these ports on BD.
-
You can check the logs on why BD is blocking those sites, and maybe you can set permissions to correct this.
-
Let's make this a good one. Happy New Year!
-
This may need to get requested first. Maybe this would need a lot of +1s.
-
Interesting. Try to check first if its a BD issue. Try to shut the BD down and see if it makes a difference.
-
Sorry to see this zazano. Every security software needs attention to get used to. I mean to explore its functionality. Have you got in touch with support at some point?
-
I guess nothing at the moment. But what exactly do we mean when we say stealth individual ports? You mean hide them?
-
Are you requesting for a Turkish language made available? I thought this is already an option?
-
Hi pavan, can you also post some logs on this too?
-
Windows firewall is the most basic firewall out there. basically, this is just used when you first set up your computer with no security software yet. Once this is set up, then you can just go ahead and disable it.
-
Hi guys, check your spam or junk folder. Sometimes, it goes there for no apparent reasons.
-
Nice. But you can't just turn that off, else it would defeat the purpose. There should be a way to add the program in the white list.
-
Sorry to see this bud. I guess they're still trying to work on this.
-
In my opinion, this is not a task for a security software anymore. There are loads of open source programs out there for this.
-
Honestly, I don't think developing this would be practical since we can access Windows calculator anytime.
-
What if we moved to a new PC, should we as for a new one?
-
Maybe you can whitelist the ports that are used for Windows updates a a work around for now.
-
Hi Henry, any news on how this was fixed yet?
-
Try this. Add Opera as a trusted program at BD. That should do the trick.
-
+1 on this. As a work around, when I do a scan, I usually don't use it. Maybe just let it scan with the monitor turned off and myself doing other things.
-
Hi. What DNS server addresses do you currently have set? Is it automatic from your ISP? Try changing it to 4.2.2.2 and 4.2.2.1 and see if it makes a difference.
-
Probably so. I think BD is just to heavy for it. It certainly froze while the scan started.
