Did you run the "weekly.exe" as Administrator? Worked for me. Already tried running it as an Admin. No luck. Since it worked for you can you tell me what type of system you are on. I am running windows 7 on a Q6600 based pc with the 64-bit version of Bitdefender.

Manual Updates.. gives message: Error reading plugins path from registry. Running the 64-bit version. Grateful for help, will otherwise have to resort to the you-know-which. I have the same issue. please post solution if found.
