Just to confirm, once autoscan is switched off I have not experienced this issue so bitdefender support you need to look at what is happening after the software downloads its new daily definitions. During the 2nd autoscan causes this issue.

Seems to occur on my machine when the computer attempts it scan after being switched on in the morning, probably after it has retrieved its daily definition updates.

I have noticed the same thing. ###### annoying having to restart your computer everyday.

I think I have this same issue as well, checked my firewall settings and they are already as instructed. I only started noticing this issue as soon as I uninstalled the old version and installed the new one.
