I spoke too soon. Still slow browsing, so I uninstalled BDIS and will monitor this forum for the update that fixes this problem. Running XP SP3 without IDM.

Turning off Bitdefender Toolbar fixed this for me. I had slow browsing in both Firefox and Opera, and I do not have IDM installed.

Yes. But that's what I'm talking about. Why should we have to go through all those steps manually? Why not just allow us to tell BD to do that when we choose "Allow" when a popup shows up?
