  • For those of you who don't know, the UPDATE failure is a known problem affecting all BD AV products and there is still no estimated time to fix. I assume it is a problem centrally, and in its current state, not even the weekly manual download will work. You have to decide how long you can go without an update....!
  • Always the same problem here md5 or I/O time error. And always with the file emalwareco2 Support confirm server fault that will be fixed in a few days (!!). I gues that might also take out antiphising as that seems to refer back to central servers too. Perhaps they have been hacked !

  • We all seem to be in the same boat so there must be a central bitdefender problem. You might hope they would inform their customers in some way, perhaps via their web site. It is not acceptable to 'hide' major service issues with silence, unless, that is, you are happy to erode your customer base rapidly...
