Wow... bdagentd is now at around 80% cpu time, in the last 10 minutes 50 GB data was written. This starts to be really scary. :-( and thats after a clean install. Fans start blowing louder and louder. This is very ugly!

Ran into a new problem. After restoring a time machine backup, Time Machine starts to make a full backup now. Sadly enough, I didn’t get a chance to uninstall BitDefender. You guess it already: this is going to be slllloooooowwww with bdagentd writing data full continiously. Very sad about this, lost my evening completely…

Hi all! Ehm, the problem turns out to be much more severe. Right now, I am restoring a tme machine backup. Problem is that not only the cpu is high, this bdagentd is continiuously writing data to harddisk / ssd, about 1GB per minute. That is the reason why especially devices with an ssd onboard run hot.
