Did you try to download it with Firefox / Opera ?! Firefox won't open for me, I click on the icon and nothing happens. I had opera downloaded but it doesn't seem to be there anymore on my list of programmes.

Did you use the Norton removal tool or just uninstall Norton, ? Go to symantec for the complete removal tool . After running that i only had a few problems left with the BD settings which were quickly sorted. Thanks but I can't download anything, I get the similar error message as above.

I don't thin Bitdefender caused those problems ! I think you are infected ! Please post here a Hijackthis log !
