I'm in the same boat, here. I am running Vista x64; I tried rebasing to a few locations but with no luck. I use Cygwin extensively and I am not comfortable turning off AVC for what ends up being 90% of the time, in order to have Cygwin open. If I have to give one up, BD will be the one.
