Correction, the 2010 sucked too, it keeps going grey "not responding" and I have to reboot, been on going problem for LONG time, contacted people here, submitted bug reports and all other log files as requested, still no help, and eventually got no responds on the issue... NOT using this crap software anymore

This is still on-going for me... everytime i return to my PC from work or first thing in the morning, BD has crashed and required me to restart PC... I really feel like i have no protection at all.

The problems are still happening twice a day on a daily basis, I have been submitting all the error reports through the auto error submit form after each "critical error" crash with my email. No error messages when trying to run the supporttool... it just doesn't do anything after double clicking it... followed your instructions provided and has PM'd you the results with link to where all logfiles are hosted. Thanks

Hi Alex, when i go to All Programes, BitDefender 2010, it only has the 4 items: -BD 2010 -BD 2010 help -Readme -Repair or Remove but the uiscan.exe way of manually triggering the scan does work. thanks for your reply

after clicking supporttool.exe, nothing happens... no report generated on m y desktop.

Hello kninejim, This option is still available in our 2010 product . Please click on Start from Windows, choose All Programs ->BitDefender 2010 and then select BitDefender Manual Scan. After that a new BitDefender window will be displayed. Click on the Add Folder button select the folder/partition that you want to scan…
