Yes I got the fix just now. USB keyboard will not work with Windows 8 laptops so that is out of the question. The next bit I will have to try it out. For those who may be interested to know I spoke with UK support this morning the people responded however the call has been escalated as I use a window 8 system with UEFI. Those of you on Windows 7 and below should be able to plug in a USB keyboard and reset you pin by simply typing it in. My system did not allow that…

One thing also my HP Laptop is a UEFI one so in order for me to go back to step one I would have to trash the whole thing. If bitdefender does not respond today I am removing the software and not going to use it again. Their support is pretty lacklustre considering I paid for my copy. regards Simon
