Brief update on this as I have more informaiton on Solium Infernum. I did try switching off real time protection but it made no difference however if I switch it off and then reboot the PC the game then works. If I turn real time protection on again the game still works until I reboot the PC after which it is broken again.…

Hi SteveMudford, You may try to exclude Firefox, Notifier2 and Solium Inferium executables to test if it's working. If not, try to disable only AVC module and test if programs work correctly.
