Hum no it did not work. However, I decided to do a final install attempt removing all the checks for optional settings (schedule 2am scan, updtae, etc) and it worked flawlessly... Go figure! But hey, product is now cooperating, it's all I'm asking! Thanks for the quick support!

Hi AndreiASM and thanks for your answer! Nothing to uninstall since it's a fresh new Windows XP installation. I will try the uninstall tool you just provided the link for. I doubt this would be of any help as this will be my 3th attempt today to uninstall & install BD.
