Actually Spybot has this type of process and it is called teatimer.exe - please uninstall Spybot from the system and then run a Repair for BitDefender. Then test if this issue reoccurs. Can i also add that if I run a scan once this has happened the cpu usage rises to about 60% and even if the scan is cancelled/finishes the cpu usage stays at 60% even if the computer is idle.
