  • That's what I said, Malewarebytes installed or not doesn't seem to make the slightest difference.
  • What do you have connected on E:\ ? Is it a partition? Upload the file to VirusTotal and scan it. Open the drive in explorer and take a look at the creation date, might give a clue as to how it got there (a download perhaps), if it just 'appeared' by itself its probably nothing good.

  • For one thing 'game mode' doesn't seem to be working any more. Its still in the pop up and the confirmation still shows up but it stays turned off anyway.
  • Did a search and found this one. I have certain scans scheduled but none is ever running. The above instruction are anything else but instructions. Copy what to where? Any other ways to get those scans running?
