I unfortunately made the same mistake of installing Bitdefender and now as of Nov 23th, 2020 the unbearable notification issue is still not fixed. Uninstalled. Sad to lose another trusted AV. I see this issue started somewhere in June but what did you do, Bitdefender ? I thought you people were better than this.
