De ce nu gaseste BitDefender aplicatiile Appbox și Appcloud ascunse în Samsung Galaxy S22?

Bună, am in telefonul meu Samsung Galaxy S22 o aplicație care apare ca Appbox și care mi se pare suspectă. Aplicația BitDefender nu o găsește. Aceasta Appbox nu poate fi doar dezactivata nu si dezinstalata. Am daezinsatalat actualizările Appbox după care aplicația s-a schimbat în Appcloud, după care a dispărut din meniul Aplicații a telefonului. De ce nu o găsește BitDefender?

What is AppCloud?

AppCloud is a pre-installed system app or bloatware on Samsung devices, developed in collaboration with telephone companies to promote bloatware and marketing applications. It functions as a persistent backdoor for such apps, making it impossible to delete or uninstall. Even if disabled, it will reliably reappear after every system update. Due to its deep system integration, AppCloud (formerly known as Appbox) is difficult to detect, disable, or remove, and antivirus software like Bitdefender does not flag it, as system applications are generally considered trusted by the operating system.

Here’s why Bitdefender does not flags it:

• System App Status – If it's a pre-installed system app, it’s unlikely to be considered a threat unless it has been modified by malware.
• Bitdefender Does Not Scan System Apps – Many antivirus programs, including Bitdefender, do not scan system applications by default, as they are considered trusted by the operating system.
• Even If Malicious, System Apps Can’t Be Removed Easily – Even if a system file is found to be malicious, no anti-malware software will be able to remove or uninstall the app, as it is part of the Android system, which has ultimate control over its system files.
