Scanare Systm Restore Bd V11 - 2008

BitDefender generatia [vs.11] 2008 ar putea avea un modul de scanare in System Restore cea ce am vazut la putini antivirusi.

C:\System Volume Information , acolo unde sunt stocate fișierele de la backup-ul System Restore nu este accesibil pe un NTFS. Și dacă nu imi este mie accesibil , ca și admin al sistemului... mă gândesc că nu este accesibil nici antivirusului orice modul ar folosi.

Apropo , ce antiviruși ai văzut tu că au funcția asta?

Nu sunt sigur dar KAV7 cred ca scaneaza System Volume Information.

Iti pot spune cu siguranta ca Superantispyware scaneaza System Volume Information, dar asta nu e AV .

Mda, am descoperit toata chestia.

1. Faci chestiile de mai jos!

Windows XP Professional using the NTFS File System on a Workgroup or Standalone Computer

1. Click Start, and then click My Computer.

2. On the Tools menu, click Folder Options.

3. On the View tab, click Show hidden files and folders.

4. Clear the Hide protected operating system files (Recommended) check box. Click Yes when you are prompted to confirm the change.

5. Clear the Use simple file sharing (Recommended) check box.

6. Click OK.

7. Right-click the System Volume Information folder in the root folder, and then click Properties.

8. Click the Security tab.

9. Click Add, and then type the name of the user to whom you want to give access to the folder. Typically, this is the account with which you are logged on. Click OK, and then click OK again.

10. Double-click the System Volume Information folder in the root folder to open it.

2. Apoi se poate scana liber cu Bitdefender locatia. (click dreapta pe System Volume Information -> bitdefender antivirus)

E o solutie.

Eu scanez cu Superantispyware si automat BD scaneaza fisierele accesate in real-time, si asa am rezolvat si scanatul folderului System Volume Information

Am propus asta pentru BitDefender v11 ca am folosit Kaspersky Internet Security 6 si acesta scana [si scaneaza] in System Restore unde gasea si virusi. Un al antivirus care scaneaza in System Restore este NOD32. Aici BitDefender nu gasea [nu gaseste / nu scaneaza] nici o data virusii. Alt exemplu este Spyware Doctor.

BD v11 o sa scaneze si C:\System Volume Information.

Da intradevar va scana si System Vol Info insa nu va putea dezinfecta. Dealtfel niciunul din programele enumerate mai sus nu poate dezinfecta un anume fisier din SVI singura treaba pe care o face este sa goleasca acest System Volume Information.

Dezinfectarea nu se poate face din diverse motive, iar unul dintre ele este faptul ca MS nu da documentatia necesara pentru a modifica SVI. SVI-ul este encriptat, impachetat si tot asa cu tehnologii proprii.

Daca ar face public modul lor de back-up pe langa firmele ce produc produse back-up si vor incepe sa-si dezvolte programele pe baza API-ului de MS vor fi si cei care scriu virusi care vor putea introduce virusii direct in SVI. Acest lucru n-ar fi tocmai un lucru bun, nu?

Oricum backup-ul pe care il face Windows-ul in SVI este la nivelul fisierelor proprii si a fisierelor de sistem. Daca un virus a infectat deja un fisier de sistem este posibil ca Win-ul sa faca backup direct cu acel fisier infectat.
