Hello everyone again, I just wanted to come back here to say that the latest version of BDMS (3.3.236.2418) has seemingly fixed all the problems raised in this thread. So thanks for the good work, Bitdefender! ^-^ Best regards, Christian Simon

Exactly the same here. It will all stay that way and work for you @Gjoksi until the next time you reboot your device; then it goes nuts again for some minutes or maybe half an hour (as on my end) until the issue resolves itself again et cetera. I hope it gets fixed soon; I feel weirdly unsecured during that time of…

In case image proof is helpful :) Edit 1: The last image shows App Lock which is not working either ... I think there is even more to unravel here so the list of issues is likely longer than what I described in my posts I presume. Edit 2: It took approximately half an hour for the BD Mobile Security App to go back to its…

Hey y'all :) I thought I should write something here since the very latest patch fixed the last remaining issue/problem; App Anomaly Detection is no longer recommended to be turned on in the BD Mobile Security app as of patch 3.3.232.2401 (at least for me and from what I can tell as a simple end user) ^-^ So, this is where…

@Jimbo_Check Yep, you did it :) I hope I was not too pushy ^-^ I too agree with you in that it could be better in some aspects; I miss a "not useful" (or something similar) tag/button because to disagree or to be off-topic are somewhat strong expressions and lack the meaning/implication of usefulness :D
-
Just go to the comment in question ... ... and tap on a different tag :> The "1" should then appear on "Like" or whatever you chose. Should be that simple or maybe I am forgetting something cause I am no expert here either haha Best regards, Christian Simon
-
Thanks for your input @Jimbo_Check :) I have similar thoughts regarding App Anomaly Detection; I do not know how it is actually triggered. I currently have only 12 App Anomaly Scans (but none in the recent past) and 0 Download Scans in 1 year of using BD Mobile Security. I know how the latter works after reading its…

@Jimbo_Check You just wrote exactly what I did xD See ... And ... Nothing has changed ever since. Next time @Jimbo_Check just use my cited comments and add a "Same"; saves time :D PS: You still have not removed the off-topic tag ;) @agozob Thanks for the update. Much appreciated! ^-^
-
@Jimbo_Check Thanks for clarification :)
-
How am I being off-topic with my contribution here? In the context of the matter I am the most on-topic one can be I would argue. That is not a very motivating or rewarding atmosphere :|
-
@Jimbo_Check No problem :) @Alexandru_BD Device: Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G OS: Android 14 / One UI 6.0 BD Mobile Security: 3.3.231.2398 Accessibility settings have never been affected in any way. Nothing regarding the behavior of the bug/error has changed on my end; my comments from a month ago still stand: Best regards,…

Hi @Jimbo_Check, it should be in General > Downloaded apps for you :)
-
@Nunzio77 wrote it is okay for him now and I just replied that it is not for me. Or am I missing any context here? :) If so then I apologise :<
-
No, opposite here. Sorry @Nunzio77 :\
-
Yes! I concur with @Nunzio77 :) I do notice exactly that behaviour on my end as well when checking the BD Mobile Security app from time to time when not having turned off my phone in the meantime. Very odd indeed ^-^ Best regards, Christian Simon
-
@Alexandru_BD Just checked again and nothing has changed (for me). The device of @Nunzio77 is using ColorOS 13 which is based on Android 13 so the fact that it is apparently resolved for older devices but not the latest ones is kind of a bummer. I guess BD always attempts to support those with the biggest installed base OS…
-
The original problem has been resolved since the end of January. This one here though: Nope :/ I checked again (phone restart et cetera) just to be certain. Same version (3.3.228.2381) as @Nunzio77 but the bug is still present. Best regards, Christian Simon
-
Thanks for your input @Gjoksi :) Then it might just be a bug related to the software of my/the phone (Android 14 specific?) or something else entirely. Unfortunately, I can only guess :O To reiterate how I proceeded: Step 1: I turn my phone off and back on. BD Mobile Security shows the notice on the Dashboard upon opening…
-
I am pretty sure many/the majority of BD Mobile Security App users are currently affected by what I described in my comment (January 30). It is not a serious problem in my opinion since App Anomaly Detection seemingly works and remains in its enabled state even after a phone restart/reboot. It could potentially be…
-
Short remark: The issue described in my comment cited above still exists as of today's patch 3.3.227.2379 :)
-
Hello everyone :) I, too, finally received the latest version of BD Mobile Security (3.3.227.2376). It fixed App Anomaly Detection so it does not turn itself off anymore after each and every individual phone restart/reboot. Launching the BD Mobile Security App then though, the "Autopilot Recommendations" feature on the…
-
That newer version has not been rolled out on my end yet so I unfortunately can not confirm the findings of @Gjoksi but I am very certain that he is correct with his presumption :)
-
Hello again :) I just wanted to note that I experience the same behaviour as @Gjoksi on my side after a phone restart/reboot; the App Anomaly Detection is then switched off again. The same goes for my mother's device, too. I leave it turned off as for now and wait for further feedback from your end @Alexandru_BD ^-^ You…
-
Thanks for the confirmation @Gjoksi :) My specs (if helpful): Android 14 / One UI 6.0 Google Play System Update October 1, 2023 Android Security Patch Level December 1, 2023 BD Mobile Security 3.3.226.2369
-
Hello everyone (again) :) I can report that "Autopilot Recommendations" has only shown me the usual App Lock recommendation but not the one for Scam Alert in the past week (at least on my end) so I guess the aforementioned issue with the latter might have been resolved as of now? Best regards, Christian Simon
-
I'm fairly certain that @Alexandru_BD is right with his assumption/assessment; it's most likely just an UI error and Scam Alert works perfectly fine in the background the whole time :) Only "Autopilot Recommendations" indicates a false status while the Scam Alert tab presents it as enabled without a flaw. Best regards,…
-
Hello everyone :) I'm also affected by the very same problem other users have mentioned above; incorrect recommendations concerning the status of the Scam Alert feature coming from "Autopilot Recommendations". I really just wanted to chime in to demonstrate that it has apparently become a more common issue users face at…
