Hi
I have Bitdefender Total Security Family 15 devices installed. I now wish to switch to Bitdefender Total Security 5 devices. Do I need to uninstall Bitdefender Family from all my devices then install Total Security.
Thanks
Hello @Hitbit,
If Bitdefender is already installed on your devices, you won't have to reinstall the software if you are changing the license/subscription. The configuration and validity of the product will change according to the license/subscription active in the Central account. Now, if you still had some validity left on the Family Pack, the devices will still be assigned on that license/subscription, until it expires, regardless if you activate the new Total Security license/subscription in your Central account. But once the Family Pack expires, the devices protected by it will be automatically assigned to the next license in the Central account that can protect them, in this case Total Secuirty. You can also reallocate the devices manually from the Family Pack to Total Security by following the steps from this article:

In the event the Family Pack is already expired, you can simply enter the new activation code for Total Security in your Central account and if Bitdefender on your devices is logged in, connected to that account, the license/subscription details will be updated accordingly, without the need to reinstall the product.
Let us know how it goes and if you have any questions.
Regards,
Alex
