Is there already a date when Bitdefender 2025 will be released?

Bitdefender has stopped using the year in its product names and has switched to version numbers instead. The last known product to use the year was the 2018 line. So, instead of a 2025 release, you’ll see updates like 27.x or similar moving forward. @Alexandru_BD can correct me if I’m wrong!

Well, there might be, since there were v25, v26, and currently v27. You can check the link below occasionally to stay updated on the latest versions of Bitdefender product available for Windows.

The software always receives multiple updates throughout the year, but the annual versioning of the products was discontinued. Regardless of this, whenever a new version is rolled out, the new product including new features and major product improvements is delivered via product update.

Thnks, Flexx. That's helpful to this 'bear of little brain'. I need now to go back to my Amazon page, which shows an array of 'Bitdefender Total Security 2024' and other offerings. Confusing mixed messages from marketing wonks!!
Even if you may find Bitdefender advertised as a 2024 version on various online marketplaces, once installed, the software will always update to the latest version, regardless of this nomenclature. On the Bitdefender website you will notice that the annual versioning is no longer displayed, of course. So, if you purchase this version in 2024 from Amazon for example (just make sure you are ordering from the official Bitdefender account and not just any reseller where the product is cheaper) and use it throughout 2025 or 2026 for that matter, you will still benefit from the latest version available, because the policy is to offer all customers free upgrades to the latest Bitdefender product available on the market for the remaining days of their subscription / license period. These upgrades are rolled out automatically during the early weeks of a new release.
