I want to remove all traces of Bitdefender from all 5 PC's

Uninstall the Bitdefender program using the Uninstall Tool: https://www.bitdefender.com/links/uninstall_consumer_paid.html It will completely remove the program.
After that, as an option, you could use cleaning programs like CCleaner, Glary Utilities etc., to clean the registry and/or junk files left by Bitdefender, if there are any.
Finally, do not forget to restart your PC.
