Bitdefender Installation Stop using MAC ADDRESSES MEDIA ACCESS CONTROL as Unique Identifier
I have Desktop Parallels Running Windows 11 ARM on both M1 and M4 Processors.
The issue is that Parallels Desktop Assigned the MAC ADDRESS of the Bluetooth Device the same on both computers. bc:9a:78:56:34:12 located in the Device Manager under Microsoft Windows Transceiver Bluetooth Properties. The problem is that the Bitdefender Central does not know that there are two different computers.
Depending on the order of the installations Bitdefender Central will display the following message:
"This Device isn't protect" Enabling Protection does not work as it lost track of the computers.
My recommendation is to use the Hard Disk Serial Number located in the Windows Registry Element Entry Value Data as the Unique Identifier, and continue to use the Device Name to identify the computers in Bitdefender Central:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\BCD00000000\Objects{422b569b-537c-11ee-90c0-a6af7a6cfb4e}\Elements\12000004
Element: UEFI harddisk SSD Serial Number
