Work Profile
Do i need to add an application here or it ll work auto?
Bitdefender's Game Mode automatically activates when a game is launched, so the purpose of the Application List remains unclear. Furthermore, I'm unable to add the Windows 10 Store version of CapCut to this list, as it's not discoverable in the search. What is the intended function of the Application List, and how can I add CapCut, a UWP app, to it?

Hi,
According to the below article, IF Bitdefender does not automatically enter Work Profile when you launch a certain work app, you can manually add the application to the Applications list:
Think of it as a way to add applications that the program may not identify as "work-related" to the Work Profile, so that the profile's settings can apply whenever you are using them. 🙂
When you click on the 'Applications list' button and click 'Add', in the new window, browse to the application’s executable file and select it.
As for CapCut, the most likely cause is that the app is installed as a Microsoft Store (UWP) app rather than a traditional desktop (Win32) application. When an app is installed from the Microsoft Store, it’s placed inside the hidden and permission-protected WindowsApps folder. Unlike standard Win32 applications, Store apps don’t have a straightforward .exe file in the usual Program Files or Program Files (x86) directories. Therefore, when you try to browse for the executable to add it to Bitdefender’s Work Profile, you won’t find it in a typical location.
To work around this, perhaps you could install CapCut as a desktop (Win32) application? Check if CapCut offers an official desktop installer (e.g., from their website) rather than using the Microsoft Store. A Win32 installer will place a standard .exe file in Program Files or the location you choose. You can then easily point Bitdefender to that .exe for Work Profile. 😉

i did try that but i also did not show the capcut in program files anywhere, don't know why. the only solution i could find was to to change folder options to '' show hidden files '' it revealed the cap cut in user/name of the user account/app data/local/capcut. but the strange thing is that even adding it in the exception lists of the express vpn it still uses the vpn. any clue ?
