Is this a scam?

Just got an email from Bitdefender. Says:

You've installed Bitdefender's award-winning protection on the maximum amount of devices available in your account. But don't worry. If you need to protect other devices, you can do so with just a few clicks:

Then 2 links in the email to Bitdefender Central …. I closed the email.

I logged in to Bitdefender and I see I have not used all my device availability.

    Hello.

ONLY Bitdefender staff can have access to your Bitdefender Central account, your devices, your payments/purchases and/or your subscription(s).

So, your best option is to contact Bitdefender Consumer Support by chat, telephone or e-mail:

Chat is the fastest way to get in touch with Bitdefender Consumer Support.

Select: Purchase & Manage Subscription -> My Bitdefender Central Account, click on Contact Support in the black box and then click on Chat 24/7.

NOTE: Bitdefender telephone support is not toll-free!

    Regards.

  • Hi,

You can check the email address from which the message was sent. To me, it looks like a legitimate message. However, in case you haven't used all your available slots and you still received this email, maybe it was sent by mistake (these are automatically triggered when all the slots are occupied), or something else happened there. Like Gjoksi advised, the Support teams can have a look and advise you accordingly.

    Regards.
