X/Twitter Trap
Hello, I hope this is the right section for this post:
This evening, I stumbled into a mass of identically looking posts on X/Twitter aiming at German users when relatives clicked on the bait image.
So far, Bitdefender has not flagged anything nefarious, and I have also had the browser delete related cookies (Firefox option to "Forget site")
I wonder what kind of attack this is, and if there is a residual risk.

So, all you did was clicking to show the image? Did you click on any link or the image after it was shown? Did you download anything? Did you run anything?

Hello.

You should report the file(s) and/or the URL(s) as false negative to Bitdefender Labs here:

@Bonfire9911 , we clicked on the image and a new tab fire, but I shut it down almost immediately before anything showed up.
@Gjoksi , thank you!2
